Assembling Universal Caster System (continued)

Swivel Caster Assembly

Locating Parts

1. From the bag labeled "Caster" remove the following

hardware:

4 Hex Head Bolts, 5/16-18 x 5/8" Long

4 Lockwashers, 5/16" External Type

5 Hex Nuts, 5/16-18

1 Hex Lock Nut 5/16-18

1 Button Head Bolt 5/16-18 x 1"

1 Hex Head Bolt 5/16-18 x 4-1/4

2. From the caster carton find the following:

Hinge Plate

 1

Center Frame w/Actuator

Assembly Instructions

1. Thread a 5/16-18 nut onto the 5/16-18 x 1 button head

cap screw all the way to the screw head. Then finger
tighten the cap screw into the actuator stem all the way
in. This will be adjusted later.

2. Mount the swivel caster wheel to the hinge plate using

four 5/16-18 x 5/8 bolts, lock washers, and nuts as
shown. Tighten all nuts securely with 1/2" wrench.
