1.Detailed Descriptions

Mechanisms

Shift Transport

To output paper, the shift motor [A] moves the shift roller [B] side-to-side while the shift roller is driven.

The shift roller HP sensor [C] is used to control this operation.

Pre-stack is performed in four steps as follows:

The upper tray exit guide plate [A] moves up (opens). Paper comes through the entrance transport

path and reaches the relay transport path.

After paper passes the pre-stack junction gate [A], the pre-stack junction gate [A] moves down

(closes) and the relay transport roller [C] rotates in reverse. The pre-stack roller [B] rotates to
