The structure inside the emergency eject hole
is as shown below. When you push a thin, stiff
wire into the hole, it presses one of the vanes
around the gear, thus rotating the gear for
ejecting the the tray. Repeating this action
three times or so ejects the tray out.

If you cannot successfully eject the tray by
pushing a thin, rigid object in, the situation may
be as follows. The four vanes may be oriented
just at the angles as shown below.

 

In such a case, push the tip of the thin wire in
the following direction with the wire angled at
about 15 degrees so that the tray can easily be
ejected.
