VI. MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
WARNING!
Before any intervention on product, ensure that power is set to the “OFF” position
and the battery pack is removed.
WARNING!
The sprayer, with the pump, must be rinsed with clean water after each use.
The guarantee will not be taken into consideration if this rising is not carried out.
Reminder: In order to maintain the machine in good working condition, carry out regular
maintenance of the machine after each use and before storage. Any breach or inadequate
maintenance reduces the life of the machine and increases the risk of breakdowns and accidents.
6.1- Cleaning
General cleaning
•
Before cleaning, switch off the tool and remove the battery pack.
•
Aimed to relief any remaining pressure in the system, pull the trigger for few more seconds.
•
Remove tank filter (4) for cleaning any residuals.
•
Carefully remove the outlet hose (20) to clean any residuals retained on the strainer.
•
Restore the stainer and the outlet hose.
•
If the product is not to be used for a long period of time, empty the tank and rinse the
interior with clean water. Collect the unused chemical or waste in suitable containers.
•
Clean the exterior surface of the product with a dry clean cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaner
or solvents in cleaning.
•
Never immerse the product in water or any liquids.
Tank cleaning
•
Read the chemical supplier’s instruction and understand the chemcial compatibility before
flushing the tank.
•
Use the flushing solution that is recommended by your chemical supplier, as well as
compatible to the materials of this product.
•
You may flush the tank with sufficient clean water.
•
Ensure the tank lid is closed tightly, then agitate the solution to dissolve any partcipitates.
•
Properly dispose of the contents of the tank in accordance with local regulations.
•
After flushing the tank, add approximate 5L clean water into the tank.
•
Install the battery and switch on the pump.
•
Flush the interior of the hose, wand and accessories with water by pulling the trigger until
the tank is empty.
•
Switch off the pump and purge any pressure.
•
Remove the battery.
•
Do not use abrasive cleaner or solvents in cleaning.
6.2- Storage
•
Perform complete product cleaning and fully charge the battery pack before storage.
•
Keep product, instruction manual and accessories (if any) in the original packaging.
•
Keep the product up-right during storage.
•
Store the product in a clean and dry environment, where is not freezing or too hot (exceed
50 ̊C).
•
Keep out of reach of children (e.g. lock it up).
