4.5- Connection to power supply

Secure extension cord with cable relief (2) and then connect it to the
plug of the unit.
The loop of the extension cord must be long enough for the cable
relief to be able to slide from one side to the other.
4.6- Starting up
(Fig. 5)
- To start the tiller: press the safety lock button (A) and then pull the
trigger level (B) against the bar.
The motor will start and the tines will begin to rotate.
- Keep holding the trigger switch (B) while releasing the safety lock
button (A).
- To stop the tiller: release the trigger switch level (B) till it returns to
its initial position.
4.7- Adjust the skid height
(Fig.7)
- To adjust skid height, the rear skid (13) must be set in downward position.
- Turn the knob (12) to the right side while pull or push the rear skid (13) to
downward or upward position as desired.
- Raising up the skid means: the tiller going forward, as the skid bar is
allowed to come out of the ground and the tiller moves forward.
- Pushing down the skid means: the skid is pushed further into the soil, and
the tiller will dig deeper.
V. OPERATION
5.1- Intended use
- The product is intended for outdoor domestic use in private gardens or cultivated gardens.
- The tool is not intended for professional or industrial use (for ex.: in public parks, sports
grounds…).
- Use the tiller for breaking sod, preparing seedbeds, and for cultivating gardens and flower beds. The
tiller can also dig small holes for planting saplings or potted plants.
- This tool may not be used to do other things outside of the described scope in this manual.
- Do not use the machine for unsuitable purposes (for ex. for shredding wood, stones …)
5.2- Operation:
- Before operation:
-- always visually inspect that the product does not show signs of use or damage
-- check that the screws, bolts and nuts are well tightened.
Replace any used or damaged part, and tighten firmly the screws, bolts and nuts when needed.
- Always move the tiller on the work area before starting work.
- Connect to power supply (see 4.5)
- Hold the tiller firmly by the handle, push the rear skid into the ground and raise the appliance
- Switch on the motor at no load (see 4.6).
