IV. GETTING STARTED
4.1- Unpacking
•
Remove the product from packaging
•
Check if the product and accessories (if any) are intact.

1 angle grinder
•
1 auxillary handle
•
1 spanner
•
1 protective guard (designed for for sanding and grinding operations only)
•
1 instruction manual
4.3- Assembly
WARNING!
Before any intervention on product, ensure that power is set to the “OFF” position
and disconnect from main power source.
Installing the auxillary handle (1)
•
The auxillary handle can be installed to either sides or top of the machine to best suit the
application and user comfort.
•
Align the auxiliary handle with the handle socket (3), then securely install to the power tool
by turning clockwise.
Mounting and removing the protective guard (6)
•
NOTE:
The protective guard is designed for sanding and grinding operations only.
•
NOTE:
The protective guard for grinding operations is NOT intended for cutting off
operations, as these operations require a specific protective guard.
•
Remove the flange (Fig. 3d) and flange nut (Fig. 3b) from the power tool with the spanner
provided.
•
Slightly loosen the screw on protective guard clamping collar.
•
Position the protective guard down and rotate it (Fig. 2b) to working position (Fig. 2c).
•
NOTE:
Adjust the protective guard so as to prevent the projection of sparks or dust towards
the user.
•
Securely tighten the screw on protective guard clamping collar.
•
The protective guard must always be fitted during operation.
