CAUTION: All chain links must be properly seated in the guide groove of the cutting rail.
4.5- Filling the oil tank
- Place the chain saw on a flat surface (Fig. 5)
- Clean the area around the oil tank cap (A) and open it.
- Fill the oil tank with chain oil. Make sure that no dirt gets into the oil reservoir so that the oil nozzle does not
become dirty.
- Close the oil tank cover (A).

4.6- Setting up batteries
1. Hold the power tool and batteries firmly when installing or removing them. If you do not hold the power
tool and batteries pack firmly, they may slip from your hands, damage the tool and batteries’ pack, and cause
injury.
2. Always turn off the power tool before installing or removing batteries.
3. To remove batteries, press the release button and pull it out. To install batteries, align them with the housing
groove and slide it into place. Always insert it completely until it locks in place by a click. Otherwise, he could
accidentally fall off the tool and injure you or someone around you.
Do not force when installing batteries. If batteries do not slide easily, it will not be inserted correctly.
4.7- Switching on and off
1. Make sure the chain brake is disengaged. The engine will not start if the chain brake is in the engaged
position. Disengage the chain brake by pulling back towards the motor (Fig. 6A).
2. Grasp the saw with both hands, with the left hand holding the front handle (do not hold the chain brake) and
the right hand holding the rear handle. Thumbs and fingers should surround both handles (Fig. 6B).
3. With your right thumb, press the safety lock button (A) while pulling the trigger. To stop the saw, release the
trigger (Fig. 6C).
NOTE
: It is not necessary to maintain pressure on the safety lock button once the trigger is pressed and the
engine is running. The safety lock button is a safety device designed to prevent accidental starts.
