ASSEMBL

RollerScraper Assembly Instruction Sheet - Part No. 5057W

Place the tractor and mower on a level
surface, and completely lower the mower
to the ground.

Working with one head at a time, place a
jack under the cutter housing and raise the
head such that the roller is slightly
elevated from the ground.

Remove and discard the four carriage
bolts that retain the two roller brackets.
(See

ASM-FL-0020

.) These are the same

bolts that would be removed to adjust the
height.

Attach the two scraper brackets as shown
in

ASM-FL-0021

. Use four of the new ½ x

2 in. carriage bolts supplied with the kit
since these are longer to accommodate
the thickness of the brackets.

Attach the scraper to the brackets as
shown in Figure 2 using four ½ x 1-1/2 in.
carriage bolts, washers, and nuts supplied
with the kit.

Repeat this process for each head.

Verify that all bolts have been tightened.
