• Connect a suitable manometer to the burner

pressure test point.

Turn the control panel cool/heat selector
switch to the ‘heat’ position, then wait for
burner to light.

• Observe the burner gas pressure reading on

the manometer and compare to the required
pressure.

• If necessary adjust as follows:

First remove the plastic dust cover from the
regulator adjusting screw. Turn the regulator
adjusting screw anticlockwise to decrease gas
pressure, or clockwise to increase gas pressure.
(See Figure 17) After adjustment replace dust
cover.

• Set control panel heat/cool switch to the

‘cool’ position to turn the burner OFF. Replace
the test point screw (if removed). Relight
the burner and test for gas soundness using
suitable leak detection fluid.
