Installation instuction

1. Connection to a transformer 8V/1A ~ or battery operation

• Disconnect the bell transformer of the mains (only when operated

with the transformer)

• Remove the front cover

• Introduce cables and fix the lower part of the chime housing

• Connect the wires according to the drawing either as transformer

or battery operation.

• Insert 2 AA Mignon batteries or rechargeable batteries (always

necessary)

• Cover has to be put properly on the housing.

• Turn on the fuse again.

• Choose melody with button on the right of the terminals

• The live span of the battery is approx. 1 year

• Sound distortion and a low volume are signs that the battery is

weakening. In that case the battery has to be replaced.

Caution: The installation can only be done when the chime is not

connected. The relevant guidelines have to be followed.
