5 • Assembling the box
5.1 • Securing the mounting profile
• Position the mounting profile centrally on top of the window,
with the stop rib against the outside of the window profile,
and the brush against the external side of the window. Keep
at least 16 mm free on each side of the mounting profile (for
the end caps).
ATTENTION:
Check that the mounting profile lies stable
and horizontally on the window frame. When necessary,
use spacers (at the screw positions) to prevent the mounting
profile of deforming when screwfixed.
• With aluminium/uPVC window profiles, first put expansion
tape/compriband (not included).

Screwfix the mounting profile suitable for the material and
dimensions of the window profile (screws not included):
• Phase 1: Firstly, drill the 1st row of holes

closest to the
external side of the window. Secure the mounting profile to
the window profile
• Phase 2: Then drill the second row of holes

on as near
as possible to the inner side of the window.
Avoid screws on ribs of (aluminium/uPVC) window profiles.
• Use an electric screwdriver set to low speed (the mounting
profile must not be bended/deformed during screwfixing).
