5 • Adjusting the endpoints of the motor
5.1 • Detecto Renson Motor Safety First
The endpoints of the Detecto Renson Safety First motor are not set in advance. These can be
easily adjusted by automatically detecting the endpoints. For more information, see documents
relating to the settings of this motor.
5.2 • Somfy IO motor
ADJUST THE UPPER AND LOWER ENDPOINTS!
Upper and lower endpoints are set at the factory.
Setting the upper end point:
Upper end point is set at the factory, with the bottom bar connecting as closely as possible to the
box. Setting the upper end point for end use.
Setting the lower end point:
The lower end point is set to ± 400 mm from the bottom of the box. Now set the lower end point
with 10 mm of play (for the sealing strip) at the bottom of the screen.
Tip:
If the electrical connection is only made after installing the sun protection, a temporary
cable can be used to set the end points of the sun protection.
