• Do not attach any decorative objects to the product.
• Install the product on a flat surface only and never on inclined surfaces.
• Do not wrap the cable around the lamp.
• Do not move the lamp by pulling the cable.
• Do not insert any metal objects into the housing.
• Do not use the products in rooms with adverse environmental conditions,
inflammable gases, vapors or dusts.
• For installations in industrial facilities, follow the accident prevention
regulations for electrical systems and equipment of the government
safety organization or the corresponding authority for your country.
• The mains outlet must be located near to the device and be easily
accessible.
• Only use the supplied mains adapter as a power supply.
• Only connect the power adapter to a normal mains socket connected to
the public supply. Before plugging in the power adapter, check whether
the voltage stated on the power adapter complies with the voltage of your
electricity supplier.
• Never connect or disconnect power adapters if your hands are wet.
• Never unplug the power adapter from the mains socket by pulling on the
cable; always use the grips on the plug.
• When setting up the product, make sure that the cable is not pinched,
kinked or damaged by sharp edges.
• Make sure that the mains cable is not squeezed, bent, damaged by sharp
edges or put under mechanical stress. Avoid excessive thermal stress on
the mains cable from extreme heat or cold. Do not modify the mains cable.
Otherwise the mains cable may be damaged. A damaged mains cable can

• For safety reasons, disconnect the power adapter from the mains socket
during storms.
• The LED illuminants are not replaceable.

the device. Consult a professional if you require assistance with product
operation, safety or connection.
• Maintenance work, adjustments and repairs may be carried out only by a
professional or at a specialist workshop.

The product is intended for illuminating rooms. It features an uplighter and an
additional pivotable reading light. Power is supplied via a normal household power
outlet.
It is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture, e.g. in
bathrooms, must be avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes (CE), you must not rebuild and/or modify this
product. If you use the product for purposes other than those described above, the
