c) DAB Radio Operation
Station scan
•
If you cannot receive any DAB station after selecting DAB mode, push the button F/PS/ (2).
•
The device will then perform a station scan in the DAB reception range and saves the stations found in the station
list.
•
During the search, the display (4) shows the number of stations found.
Station selection
•
Push the buttons
(1) and
(8) repeatedly until the desired station is shown in the display (4).
•
The chosen station will be played back after a brief time.
Station buttons
•
Set the station to be saved.
•
Push the station button (11-16) on which you want to save the station.
•
The display (4) shows SAVE Px (x designates the corresponding station button).
• If you briefly push the station buttons, you can select a station you have pre-set.
The DAB area has six station buttons. Therefore you can assign 6 station buttons.
Traffic announcements
•
Keep the button MOD/TA/ (3) pushed to switch the TA function on or off.
•
When the TA function is active, TA appears in the display.
•
If a different audio source is being played back (USB playback for instance), the programme is set to mute during
the traffic announcement.
•
When you listen to a radio programme at a very low volume, the volume is automatically increased to a pre-set
value.
Calling station information
• Briefly push the BND/PTY button (10) to display various types of information on the station you just listened to.
•
Push the BND/PTY button (10) once more to move to the next display.
•
The contents of the displayed information depend on the station.
