Operation
• Place the outdoor fountain (1) on a flat, secure and horizontal surface. Place the
pump (8) and the power supply (2) outside the fountain on a dry surface.
• Guide the cable with the connector plug (6) and the riser pipe (5) from the inside of
the fountain through the cable opening (3) on the side of the fountain.
• Connect the connector plug to the socket (7). Secure the connection using the union
nut on the connector plug.
• Connect the pump to the riser pipe and place the pump on the ground inside the
fountain.
• Plug the connector on the mains cable (4) into the connection socket on the power
supply. Screw the union nut in place.
Do
not
connect the mains plug to the mains socket. This will be done later.
•
Pour clean, clear water through the water inlets on the top of the fountain. Observe
the water level through the opening on the side. The water level markings for the
minimum water level
MIN
and the maximum water level
MAX
are located inside
the fountain. The water level must always be between the
MIN
and
MAX
markings.
• Place the cover (9) on the cable opening on the side of the fountain. Pay attention to
the holes on the cable opening and the cover. The hole on the cover is for feeding
the cable. The cable must not be pinched!
• Place the mains plug into a suitable outdoor socket (IP44). The pump starts working
immediately and the white LEDs turn on. The water is pumped upwards through the
opening in the middle of the LED unit (10) and flows back into the fountain via the
water inlets on the surface.
Ensure that the cable is placed in a
drip loop. This prevents water from
flowing along the mains cable to
the mains socket. This may lead to
a fatal electric shock!
To the
pump
Drip loop
• Remove the mains plug from the mains socket after use. The pump stops immediately
and the LEDs turn off.
Setting the flow volume
Disconnect the pump from the power supply. You can set the desired water flow
volume using the slide switch on the front on the pump. Move it towards "+" to increase
the flow volume. Move it towards "-" to decrease the flow volume.
Troubleshooting
Problem
Suggested solution
The pump does not deliver any
water or is noisier than usual.
There is not enough water in the container.
Remove the power adapter from the mains
socket. Fill the fountain with clear water to
at least the
MIN
mark but not higher than the
MAX
mark. Plug the mains plug back into the
mains socket.
The pump does not deliver enough
water.
Increase the water flow volume (see "Setting
the flow volume").
There is air in the pump.
Disconnect the power adapter from the mains
and disconnect the pump. Pour water into the
tube from above. Plug the pump back in and
insert the mains plug into the mains socket.
Maintenance and cleaning
• Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as
these could damage the housing or even impair the functioning of the product.
•
Always unplug the mains plug from the mains socket before cleaning.
• Change the water every three days. If possible, use clear, purified water.
• Remove coarse dirt and clean the fountain. Use protective gloves to prevent injuries.
• If dirt has accumulated in the pump inlet, disconnect the pump from the mains.
Remove the dirt and rinse the pump with clean, flowing water.
•
Pay attention to the information in the
Technical data
. Empty the water. Store the
product in a frost-proof room as soon as the outdoor temperature drops to a level
where there is a risk of frost.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the
