Battery notes
• Batteries should be kept out of the reach of children.
• Do not leave batteries lying around in the open; there is a risk of them being swal-
lowed by children or pets. If they are swallowed, consult a doctor immediately.
• Leaking or damaged batteries can lead to caustic burning of the skin. Therefore, use
suitable protective gloves.
• Batteries must not be short-circuited, opened or thrown into a fire. There is a risk of
explosion!
• Do not recharge normal, non-rechargeable batteries; there is a risk of explosion!
• Please pay attention to the correct polarity (plus/+ and minus/-) when inserting the
battery.

Inserting/replacing the battery
Delivery includes a CR2032 type battery. This is possibly already inserted in
the battery compartment. A plastic protective strip between the battery and
battery contacts here prevents premature discharge; remove it.
• To insert/replace the battery pull the battery holder (5) down and out.
• Then place a type CR2032 battery inside, observing the correct polarity. The positive
pole of the battery has to be in the direction of “+” mark on the battery holder.
• Slide the battery holder back in the correct orientation in the radio remote control.
• A battery change is required if the range of the radio remote control decreases
significantly or the LED (1) does not light up anymore when the buttons are pressed.
Operation
Keep between the radio remote control and the radio receiver used a mini-
mum distance of 20 - 30 cm.
a) Reset the radio remote control
At initial startup, you should for each channel used (1, 2, ...., 11 or 12) perform a reset
first, and only then program the radio receiver.
A reset also deletes all of the radio receivers programmed/saved on the respective
channel.
The reset applies only to the respective individual channel - all other 11
channels are unimpaired!
Proceed as follows to perform a reset of a channel:
• First select the slide switch to the correct switching group (I, II, III, IV) for the se-
lected channel to reset.
• Keep both buttons (“ON” and “OFF”) of the corresponding channel pressed so long
(about 3 seconds) until the LED (1) flashes red (then release buttons for 1 - 2 sec-
onds).
• Once again keep both buttons (“ON” and “OFF”) pressed (about 6 seconds) until the
LED (1) flashes blue. Then release both buttons.
b) Programming a radio receiver on the radio remote control
At each channel of a radio transmitter of the RS2W radio system up to 5
different radio receivers (e.g. wireless switch socket) can be programmed.
However, do not mix radio switch and dimmer.
• Switch the radio receiver of the RS2W radio system that you want to program on via
its control button (see operating instructions for the radio receiver used).
• Choose a switch group (I, II, III, IV) with the slide switch.
• Keep both buttons (“ON” and “OFF”) of each channel of the radio remote control
pressed for so long (about 3 seconds) until the LED (1) flashes red.
• Press and hold the control button on the radio receiver until the programming in pro-
cedure on the radio remote control is completed. Here, the LED (1) lights up briefly
blue and then goes out again.

Intended use
With the radio remote control suitable receivers of the RS2W radio system (or other
consumers connected) can be switched on or off wirelessly. The operation of the ra-
dio remote control is via a battery of the type “CR2032”.
A special feature gives the radio remote control via LED a feedback, whether the pro-
grammed radio receiver (max. 5 each per channel) of the RS2W radio system has
received the key commands or not.
Please read the operating instructions carefully and do not discard them. If you pass
the product on to a third party, please hand over these operating instructions as well.
Any use other than that described above will lead to damage to the product and will
expose you to additional risks, such as short circuits, fire, etc. No part of the product
may be modified or converted! The safety instructions must be observed at all times!
