6. Commissioning / Operation
1. Connect the device to the wall outlet (Fig. 13).
2. Switch the device on (Fig. 14).
3. Adjust the desired speed >>> 100 – 400 rpm
(Fig. 15).
Your
Twister pro
is now ready for operation with
the default program (refer to the factory settings
in Sec. 7.)
6.1 Language Setting
The Twister pro offers 5 language options:
1. Press and hold the control button for 3 sec.
(Fig. 20).
2. Turn the knob to select the desired language
(Fig. 15),
• German
• English
• French
• Italian
• Spanish
3. Press the control button to save your selection
(Fig. 20).
6.2 Mixing Process
1. Select an appropriate mixing bowl size.
Do not fill the mixing bowl over the maximum
mark. This limit is valid for powders and
liquids measured before mixing.
Note: Attempting to mix small quantities in
large bowls will result in inadequate mixing.
2. Using a spatula, lightly mix the materials together
(Fig. 16).
Before mixing investment materials,
please observe the security instruc-
tions of their manufacturers (health
endangering dusts).
3. Install the appropriate paddle (Fig. 17).
Make sure the bowl rim (Fig. 18a) and cover
rim (Fig. 18b) are clean.
4. Couple the mixing bowl to the device (Fig. 19) and
hold it until the bowl is fixed automatically.
Note: The motor should start automatically
and run briefly when the bowl is inserted.
The device is equipped with an automatic
coupling aid that locks the paddle to the
motor shaft when the bowl is inserted.
The vacuum pump starts automatically.
5. Wait until sufficient vacuum has been created.
(The device will beep).
6. Press the control button to start mixing (Fig. 20).
7. The device will beep when mixing has been
completed.
8. To remove the mixing bowl, press the control button
(Fig. 20). Caution: Hold the bowl securely!
The bowl will be released in a few seconds.
6.3 Interrupting the Mixing Process
1. To stop the motor, press the control button once
(Fig. 20).
2. To shut off the vacuum, press the control button
again (Fig. 20).
Caution: Hold the bowl securely!
6.4 Adjustments During the Mixing Process
• You can change the mixing time the device is
operating by turning the control knob (Fig. 15).
6.4.1 Mixing Time
• The mixing time you set before starting the process
is saved.
• If you change the mixing time during the process,
the new time will not be saved.
6.4.2 With Program Control Selected >>> Keys 1-5
You can save individual mixing
parameters under each of the
5 program keys (refer to
Attachment 1). The mixing
time can be changed during
the mixing process with the
control button. This will not
affect the pre-programmed
mixing time.
Tip:
Only mix the same type of material in a given
bowl. Residue form previous mixing processes
can have a negative influence (e.g., silicon fails to
harden, etc.).
We recommend a separate bowl for each type of
material (plaster, investment, silicon).
7. Programming the Mixing Parameters
(Example: Mixing Time)
>>> Refer to Attachment 1, ”Editing / Setting Pro-
gram Parameters“.
Factory settings:
• Mixing time: 30 seconds
• Speed: 350 rpm
• Interval: 0 seconds
• Pre-vacuum: 0 seconds
• Post-vacuum: 0 seconds
8. Programming the Program Name)

9. Cleaning / Maintenance
The Twister pro vacuum mixer is practically mainte-
nance-free. You should, however, clean the intake filter
and seal surfaces from time to time.
