Configuring the Hardware
This section describes how to connect an external processor system, called the
‘External Host’ in this
section, to the DA16x00 EVK via hard wires, and use the UART interface for the AT+CMD protocol.
There are three connections required:

UART connection
●
DA16x00 wake up connection from DPM
●
External Host wake up connection if a power saving mode is used

his section also includes the “AT Command” for use with the External Host.

The default UART1 (DA16200 EVK) or UART2 (DA16600 EVK) configurations are shown in

Default UART Pin Connection
The DA16200 EVK uses GPIOA_4 for UART1 TX and GPIOA_5 for UART1 RX by default.
The DA16600 EVK uses GPIOC_6 for UART2 TX and GPIOC_7 for UART2 RX by default.
The RX, TX and GND signals of the External Host and the DA16x00 must be connected as shown in
