Description:

This window displays the trace buffer contents. The items listed in table 4.17 are displayed.

Table 4.17 [Trace] Window Display Items

Item

Description

[IP]

Displays the instruction pointer (signed decimal).

[TYPE]

Displays the branch source.
BRANCH: Branch source

[ADDR]

Displays the branch source address.

[MNEMONIC]

Displays the execution instruction mnemonic.

[OPERAND]

Displays the execution instruction operand.

[Source]

Displays the C-source line of the address that the trace has been acquired.

[Total Records]

Displays the total number of instructions displayed as trace information in the
[Trace] window.

The pop-up menu, opened by clicking the right mouse button, can be used to set, change, and
clear trace conditions. For details, refer to the Hitachi Debugging Interface User’s Manual.

Note:

The [Halt] menu in the pop-up menu is active only when the [Trace] window is open
during user program execution. Realtime emulation cannot be performed by using the
[Halt] menu.
