RUF-1 HS, RUF-2 HS microphone headset with bodypack transmitter

9.   ON/OFF switch bodypack transmitter
10.   Power Supply LED bodypack transmitter
11.   Volume control bodypack transmitter
12.   Headset connection cable
13.   Headset microphone
14.   Battery compartment bodypack transmitter

The receiver disposes of a fixed aerial. Ideally set the aerial to maximum height.

Connect the UHF receiver to your amplifier or your mixing console by hooking up the radioshielded double socket connection via XLR -6- or 6.3mm
jack plug -7- with the microphone input of your amplifier.

RUF-1 HH – RUF-2 HH

Open the mic‘s battery compartment cover and place 2 1.5V AA batte-
ries in the compartment. Observe the correct polarity. Switch the mic
on and check whether the red LED goes on for one second. If the red
LED goes on for longer this indicates a weak battery which has to be
exchanged. If the LED does not light up, the battery is empty and must
be instantly removed from the microphone.

RUF-1 HS – RUF-2 HS

Slide open the battery compartment -14- of the bodypack transmitter
and place 2 1.5V AA batteries into the battery compartment. Please
observe the correct polarity! Switch the bodypack transmitter -9- on
and check whether the red LED -10- goes on for one second. If the red
LED goes on for longer this indicates a weak battery which has to be
exchanged. If the LED does not light up, the battery is empty and must
be instantly removed from the bodypack transmitter. As soon as a si-
gnal is audible via your system, regulate the volume of the bodypack
transmitter -11-.

Connect the adaptor of your UHF receiver -8- to the power pack and insert it into the outlet.

Switch the UHF receiver on with the ON/OFF switch -1-.

Turn on the microphone/the bodypack transmitter. The signal indicator -10- is on.

Adjust the volume and the sound control of your amplifier system and volume control of the UHF receiver -4-.

After use, switch off the microphone/the bodypack transmitter and remove the battery.

Please observe that switching the microphone/the bodypack transmitter on and off during operation may cause interference.

MAINTENANCE

- Check the technical safety of the device regularly for damage to the mains line or the casing, as well as for wear of wear parts such as switches.

- If it is to be assumed that the safe operation is no longer feasible then the device must be disconnected and secured against accidental use.

-  It must be assumed that a safe operation is no longer feasible if the device bears visible defects, if the device no longer functions, following longer

storage under unfavourable conditions or after major transport stress.
