Charging The Battery
The factory does not charge the battery before it is shipped It must be charged before being used.
Repeat charging and discharging for two or three times to optimize its charging capacity. When
the battery voltage becomes low to the point the radio indicates low voltage (flashing led, no
display...), the battery should be recharged or replaced with a charged battery.

Slide the battery pack or transceiver
with a battery back into the charger.
•
Make sure the battery pack contacts
make contact with the charging
terminals.
•
When the battery begins charging, the
status LED is red; and when the battery
is fully charged the status LED is
green.
