3.4.3 Net Mask
The net mask can be set to match the subnet of the connected network.
Please refer to your network administrator for more information.
3.4.4 Passwords
When using the MXTOOLS Remote Diagnostic (MXTOOLSRD) software to
connect to the T58, passwords can be set so that only authorised users can
access the diagnostic information. Two of these passwords can be set
depending on the level of access provided.
Password 1 – Enables diagnostic access.
This password can either be enabled with text up to 16 characters or allow
unrestricted access if no password is programmed.
Password 2 – Enables remote control (such as channel change, digital mute,
etc)
This password can either be enabled with text up to 16 characters or allow
unrestricted access if no password is programmed.
3.4.5 Port Numbers
When you have a Network Address Translator (NAT) router or firewall to
share a single public IP address, there may be cases where you need to port
forward to individual T58 addresses on the LAN segment. In this case, each
T58 can be programmed with individual port numbers.
Both the HTTP (Web Server) port and the UDP (MXTOOLSRD) ports can
be changed if desired.
The factory default ports are:
UDP MXTOOLSRD Port: 10001
HTTP Web server Port: 80
3.4.6 Radio Name
This contains the description which will be used as identification of the
particular radio in the email alert message body. The maximum length of the
radio name is 29 characters.
3.4.7 From (Email Config)
The email address which is used by the T58 in order to generate the email
alert message.
3.4.8 Email1 and Email2 (Email Config)
