Operation of the PSC Console

This chapter describes operation modes of the PSC Console, how to select each
operation mode and how to operate the PSC Console in each operation mode.

4.1

Operation Modes of the PSC Console

There are the following three operation modes: "RUN", "MONITOR" and
"PROGRAM" Modes. The function of each mode is described in the following.

1)

RUN Mode

In this mode, control operations of the PSC3000, PSC4000 or PSC5000 System
can be performed. When the PSC3000, PSC4000 or PSC5000 System is
powered up, the PSC Console will automatically be turned to the RUN Mode.

2)

MONITOR Mode

In the MONITOR Mode, values of the control variables can be monitored.

3)

PROGRAM Mode

The attribute data can be monitored, set and modified in this mode.
