8 Maintenance

Note:

The air cap

can

be replaced on the automatic spray gun AGR-08-E without removing it from

the system.

For all other maintenance jobs, the automatic spray gun AGR-08-E

must

be removed from the in-

termediate plate/adapter and replaced by a reserve gun.

8.1

Required tools and lubricants

The following are required for installation and removal:

•

Socket wrench or nut, size 13

•

Hexagon socket head wrench, size 4 and size 6

•

Torx wrench TO40

•

Torque wrench

•

Gun grease (part no. 65026530) for wetting of the o-ring when placing the gun

Note:

Needle, needle set and piston should only be exposed to gun grease (part no. 65026530).

Other grease can lead to a malfunction of the automatic spray gun AGR-08-E (unsuitable grease

could cause swelling of needle set and piston).

8.2

Removing gun

Caution!

Danger of injury due to lines under pressure!

• When removing the automatic spray gun AGR-08-E, spray fluid

may emerge under high pressure.

• Make certain no paint material gets into the air channels.

Rinse and blow out the material lines, then depressurise them.

Wear protective clothing and/or glasses.
