TIRE PUNCTURE

The Gatsby scooter is equipped with pneumatic tires. In case of a flat tire due to puncture the
tube will have to be replaced.

WARNING! Wheels on your Gatsby scooter should only be serviced or replaced
by authorized Rehasys provider or qualified technician.

WARNING! Completely deflate the tires before attempting repair.

Following these steps to remove the tire and replace the tube :

1. Remove the key from the key switch

2. Elevate the side of the scooter of which you are removing the tire. Fix the scooter

at elevated position by placing e.g. wooden blocks under the frame

3. Remove the lug nuts

4. Pull the wheel off the axle (Figure 20)

5. Take the two rims apart and remove the tube (Figure 21).

6. Replace the tube

7. Push the two rims together

8. Slide the wheel onto the axle

9. Reinstall the lug nuts and tight them properly

10. Inflate the tire to the right pressure (2.07bar / 30psi)

11. Remove the blocks from beneath the scooter
