Instructions for use
2.1 Opening the
wheelchair:
Gently push down-
wards on the frame
at the sides of the
seat to unfold the
wheelchair. Now
smooth out the seat with your palms.
2.2 Folding up the wheelchair:
Fold the footrests up. Then take hold of
the seat at the front and at the rear under
the seat in the middle and pull upwards. If
needed you can push together the tubes at
the side of the frame to which the seat is
attached.
2.3 Sitting down and standing up
Sitting down:
First, apply the wheelchair's parking brake
and fold the footrests up. Walk backwards
towards the wheelchair, support yourself
lightly on the armrests, and slowly — if
necessary with the help of your accompa-
nying person — lower yourself down into
When unfolding, don't pull too hard on
the armrests to avoid damaging the
components. In order to avoid injuring
your fingers, you should be careful when
unfolding the wheelchair that your hand
doesn't get caught between the frame
and seat tubes.
Notice
You should only sit down in, or stand up
from the wheelchair when the parking
brake is applied in order to avoid acci-
dents. When sitting down and standing
up, avoid standing on the footrests to
avoid accidents.
Attention
the seat. Next, fold the footrests down and
position your feet on them.
Standing up:
First, apply the wheelchair's parking brake
and take your feet off the footrests so that
these can be folded up. Support yourself
lightly on the armrests and — if necessary
with the help of your accompanying person
— lift yourself out of the wheelchair.
2.4 Travel operation
2.4.1.
When travelling outdoors, you must
observe the traffic regulations. If the
wheelchair is being pushed, the accom-
panying person must use the tip assist to
negotiate obstacles.
2.4.2.
When negotiating several steps or
larger obstacles, the wheelchair and the
user should be held by two people and
carefully lifted over the obstacle.
2.4.3.
If the wheelchair is pushed down
a steep slope, the accompanying person
should do this backwards in order to
prevent the user from falling forwards out
of the wheelchair.
1. Do not brake abruptly while travelling
in order to avoid accidents.
2. If you are going down a slope, you
should brake very carefully in order to
avoid accidents.
3. Do not go down a slope of more than
8° in order to avoid accidents.
