For P33CE Using SIT 886 NOVA Gas Valve

THIS CONVERSION MUST BE DONE BY A QUALIFIED GAS FITTER IF IN DOUBT

DO NOT DO THIS CONVERSION!!

Installation of the LPG
Conversion Kit:

Shut off the gas supply.

Remove the glass door.

Release the two hooks from the

bottom of the glass door.

Swing the door out 45 degrees from

the bottom - then lift up and out.

Remove logs and brick panels if

installed.

Remove the 2 screws holding the Burner
Assembly to the ﬁrebox base. Push the
Burner Assembly to the left and lift out.

Unscrew the pilot oriﬁce with the Allen
key and replace with the LPG pilot oriﬁce
in the kit and replace pilot cap.

Remove burner oriﬁce with a 1/2"
wrench and discard. Use another wrench
to hold on to the elbow behind
the oriﬁce.

Reinstall new burner oriﬁce LPG
stamped #54 and tighten.

Remove regulator and discard. Install the

Hi/Lo pressure regulator onto the valve

with 2 screws as shown below.

Attach the label “This unit has been

converted to LPG” near or on top of the
serial # decal.

11.

Replace yellow “NG” label with red “LPG”

label.

12.

Reverse step 3 - 1

13.

Check for gas leaks.

14.

Check inlet and outlet pressures.

15.

Check operation of ﬂame control.

Undo clip and remove pilot cap to

expose pilot oriﬁce.
