CONVERSION KIT FROM NATURAL GAS TO ULPG #390-969
FOR G51 USING SIMPLOSIT GAS VALVE
THIS CONVERSION MUST BE DONE BY A QUALIFIED GAS FITTER
IF IN DOUBT DO NOT DO THIS CONVERSION !!

Instruction Sheet
1)
Shut off the gas supply.
2)
Remove logs.
3)
Open valve cover.
8)
Install the ULPG Valve Tray. See instruc-
tions on page 10.
9)
Check gas aeration setting on ULPG burner.
10)
Install the ULPG Burner. See instructions on
page 11.
11)
Re-install logs.
12)
Close valve cover.
13)
Light the burner.
14)
Check for gas leaks.
15)
Check the pressure of the regulator test
point:
NG
0.90kPa
ULPG
2.61 kPa
16)
Check operation of flame control.
17)
Check for proper flame appearance and
glow on logs.
18)
Attach the clear label "This unit has been
converted to ULPG" near or on the serial #
decal.
4)
Remove the NG burner by removing the
screw which secures the burner to the
valve tray.

Remove the valve shield by removing the
screw.

Disconnect the unit to the gas line from the
flex pipe.

7)
Remove the 4 screws which secure the
valve tray to the firebox and remove.
Remove valve tray.
