5. Safety information
Damage caused due to failure to observe these operating instructions will void the warranty. We
shall not be liable for any consequential damage!
We shall not be liable for damage to property or personal injury caused by incorrect handling or
failure to observe the safety information! Such cases will void the warranty/guarantee.
The warranty/guarantee also excludes normal wear and tear during operation and accident damages (e.g.
broken propellers or drive and remote control parts with water damage).
Dear customer, these safety instructions are provided to ensure the safe operation of the product and your
personal safety. Read this section very carefully before using the product!
a) General information
Caution, safety hazard!
Operation of the model boat may result in damage to property and/or personal injury. It is therefore
essential that you are adequately insured for the operation of the model boat, e.g. with liability
insurance. If you already have liability insurance, ask your insurance company before using the
model boat whether its operation is also insured.
Please note: Some countries prohibit the operation of all model boats in certain waters!
• The unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the product or its components is prohibited for safety
and approval reasons.
• This product is not a toy and is not suitable for children under 14 years of age.
• The remote control and drive components inside the model boat must be protected from moisture and
humidity.

The model boat is only suitable for use in fresh water.
• If you do not have sufficient knowledge of how to use remote-controlled model boats, please contact an
experienced model boat user or a dedicated model boat club.
• Do not leave packaging material unattended, as it may become dangerous playing material for children.
• If you have any questions that are not answered by these operating instructions, contact us (see section
1 for contact information) or an experienced technician.
b) Before operation
• Make sure no other model boats are operated within the remote control range. Otherwise you may lose
control of the remote-controlled model boats! The remote control operates at a frequency of 2.4 GHz.
Always check that it possible to use multiple remote controls in close proximity without interference.
• Check your model boat and the remote control for functionality on a regular basis. Inspect the parts for
any visible signs of damage, such as broken connectors or damaged cables. All moving parts in the
model boat must work smoothly, and there should be no play in the bearing.
• Charge the drive battery (and remote control batteries, if you are using rechargeable batteries) according
to the manufacturer's instructions.
• Before using the remote control, use a battery tester to check that the batteries have sufficient power re

maining. If the batteries are empty, replace all of them at the same time. Never replace individual batteries.
