Safety instructions
The guarantee/warranty will be void if damage is incurred resulting from non-compliance
with these operating instructions. We assume no liability for any consequential damage!

ventilated rooms only!
• The product must not get damp or wet.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around unattended. It can become a dangerous toy for children.
• The model plane assembly rack is only suitable for the assembly of model planes. Due to the small
footprint of the assembly rack, it must not be used in rooms or at the flying site to store model planes.
The model and the assembly rack might tip over if inadvertently touched or in case of strong winds and
consequently cause damage.
• The model pane assembly rack is not stable enough to test motor models with the motor running. The

• If you wish to paint the rack, the individual parts must be painted before the assembly. Allow the parts
to completely dry.
• Put the left and the right side part (ill. 1, pos. 1) onto your work table. The smaller end with the hole must
point upwards. Mark the exact centre of the recesses in the side parts (ill. 2, pos. 1).
• Insert the connecting strut (ill. 1, pos. 3) into the recess vertically, mark the drill holes for the hinge on
the left and for the counter bearing of the snap hinge on the right. Pre-drill the markings with a 1.5mm
drill and screw the hinge as well as the counter bearing tight on the side part using the 10x2 mm
countersunk screws (ill. 2, pos. 2).
• Attach the clip hinge to the counter bearing and mark the drill holes for the clip hinge. For a tighter fit,
pre-drill the holes using a 1.5mm drill a little further up from the centre of the marking (max. 1 mm). Screw
on the snap hinge using 10x2 mm screws (ill. 2, pos. 3).
• Cut the rubber tube (ill. 1, pos. 2) in the middle and glue one half each onto an arm using 5-minute epoxy
glue (ill 2, pos. 4; ill 3, pos. 5).
• Cut off protruding rubber parts. The arms have a milled grove on one side which serves as a slide bearing
on the side parts (see arrow in ill. 3, pos. 6). Install both arms on the side part in opposite direction and
secure them with a 50x6 screw and a wing nut. Use a shim on both sides (ill. 3, pos. 5 and 6).
• Use a 2mm drill to pre-drill the holes for the rubber feet on the bottom of the side parts and fasten them
with 15x2.5 mm lens head screws (ill. 3, pos. 7).
• The assembly of the assembly rack is now complete (ill. 3, pos. 8).
