4. SAFETY
4.1. General provisions
Read this manual carefully. Failure to follow the safety instructions may result in electric
shock or burns, fire, or serious injury. Do not use HANDUCTION F-1 under the influence
of drugs, alcohol or medicines. Unauthorized people and animals should be kept at a safe
distance when working with the device, even if the heated material is continuously cooled.
Do not reach for the device, maintain the correct position and balance during operation. Avoid working in rain and
high humidity. Do not allow children and persons under 18 years old to touch the device and turn it on by
themselves!
The room in which the device is used must have inlet-exhaust ventilation ensuring the proper air condition according
to the applicable local regulations, the working area must be dry, clean and well lit in accordance with the applicable
local legislation. Cluttered and dark places contribute to accidents. An operable fire extinguisher should always be
within reach when working with HANDUCTION F-1.
Staff protection rules
Only persons who have permission to work with electrical equipment with voltage up to 1000 V and who have been
trained, instructed and tested for knowledge of safety requirements are allowed to work with the induction heater.
People using pacemakers or other metallic or electronic surgical implants should not work
with the induction heater and should be at a safe distance of at least 5 m from the device.
When working with HANDUCTION F-1, a worker must take off all metal objects, such as
jewelry, rings, watches, keys, necklaces, identification tags, belt buckles, piercings and also
clothes with metal decorations, such as metal rivets, buttons, zippers, etc.
HANDUCTION F-1 can quickly heat metal objects and cause severe burns or burning of
clothing.
Do not use HANDUCTION F-1 at a distance closer than 12 cm to any component of an airbag. The heat generated
by the device may ignite the airbag explosive and cause it to explode suddenly. Look through the vehicle instruction
manual and find the location of the airbag before starting work.
When working with HANDUCTION F-1, a worker must not use a mobile phone, keep
mobile phones at least at 5 meter distance from the induction heater.
When using HANDUCTION F-1, always wear safety glasses or a mask.
When old paintwork, lubricants, sealants, adhesives, etc. are heated with HANDUCTION
