3 - PRESENTATION
The pneumatic system of the “Logika Refill” RED boiler consists of the following:
• a minimum pellet level sensor “ S ” located inside the boiler tank; it checks the level of the pellet present.
• as soon as sensor “ S ” is no longer covered with pellets, control unit “ C ” operates aspirator “ Z ” that, aspirating the air (negative
pressure) transports the pellets from magazine “ J ” (Big Bag or pellet storage tank) into tank “ K ”. The operation time of the aspirator
is set at 20 sec.
• The installer must in any case check if it is enough, since the quantity transported depends on the length and shape of the system as
well as on the type of pellets used.
PROCEDURES
Carry out all the operations without installing the tank lining.
• Locate the door “B” on the right side of the tank and remove it by undoing the two screws “V” (fig.1).
• Carry out a loading test with the default settings.
• In order for the device to work properly, there must be about 6÷8 cm between the level of the pellets and the lower edge of the
tank, see fig.2.
If the level is greater than 6÷8 cm, change the setting by increasing the pellets loading time by 5 seconds.
If the level is below 6÷8 cm, change the setting by decreasing the pellets loading time by 5 seconds.
• Repeat the previous loading operation, by emptying the tank manually to check the new setting.
To adjust the loading time one must set the timers and parameters in the control unit installer menu; for further
details consult the control unit manual.
