OPERATION
Starting the flood sensor

Remove the battery cover and insert 2 new
AAA batteries, with the polarity shown in the
figure, and then replace the cover.

Battery charging indicator: The RED LED on
the transmitter starts flashing slowly if the
batteries need replacing.
Installation of flood sensor
Attach the transmitter to a solid surface, e.g. a wall, with the supplied double-sided self-adhesive
fasteners, or with screw and plug.

Attach the flood sensor's water sensor with the double-sided self-adhesive fastener. Porous
surfaces such as wood or concrete need painting first to achieve adequate adhesion.
2. Test the flood sensor with a bowl of water after installation to check that it is working properly.

1. Make sure the attachment surfaces are clean.
2. Pull off one of the protective films and attach the fastener to the transmitter.
3. Pull off the other protective film and press the transmitter firmly on the attachment surface.
4. Attach the water sensor in the same way.
Setting the house code
If the factory settings for the wire-free home alarm Smart Panel have not been changed, there is NO
NEED TO CHANGE the house code. However, if the settings on the Smart Panel have been changed, or
need to be changed to resolve a problem (whereby the Smart Panel and sensors only work occasionally
or not at all, or are disrupting other systems), then the house code must also be changed on all the
system modules (sensors and sirens).
The house code can be changed as follows.

There are four jumpers or DIP switches on each unit.

Remove the cover over the jumper compartment. Change the house code by moving the jumpers
(ON = inserted/OFF = pulled out). All jumpers are inserted on delivery from the factory.

Check that the system is working properly by making sure that the jumpers on the Smart Panel and
all other system modules (sensors and sirens) correspond exactly.
