Check for mechanical damage and or carbon buildup.
x
If the spark plug is fouled, replace spark plug with new one.
x
Check the spark plug gap,7mm or .028.
Notes: Make sure the replacement spark plug is in the correct heat range. An incorrect
heat range spark plug can damage your engine. Also, never touch the muffler during or
after the engine has been run.

Make sure the spark plug washer is in good condition or brand-new.
x
Threa d the spark plug in by hand first before using a tool. This will prevent
stripping the threads on the cylinder head assembly and the spark plug.

After the spark plug has seated, tighten the spark plug with a spark plug wrench to
compress the washer.
Do not over tighten.
Note: For new spark plugs, tighten an extra ½ turn after the spark plugs seats to
compress the washer. If installing a used spark plug; tighten 1/8 – ½ turn. The spark
plug must be securely tightened, or the spark plug can become very hot and damage the
engine.

Please set an authorized dealer for adjustments.
PUTTING THE AIR COMPRESSOR IN STORAGE OR TRANSPORTING
Please follow these instructions before storing your engine.

Clean the storage area.
x
Drain the fuel into a suitable container.
x
Remove the sediment cup and clean thoroughly.
x
Replace the sediment cup and tighten securely.
x
Drain the fuel from the carburetor by loosening the drain screw. Drain the fuel
into a suitable container.
