Lift the lid, align the notches in the heat deflector (

of the barrel, and place the heat deflector over the fire pot. Insert drip pans (

slanting toward drip bucket spouts on the left and right sides.
Make sure to leave equal gaps
between the drip pan and front and back chamber walls to ensure even heat distribution.
Insert bottom grates (

), large cooking grates (

), and meat hanging rod (

). Install the drip
bucket (

) by clipping the handle to the hook on the spout.
Tip: Line drip pan with aluminum foil for easier clean up.
