Make sure that the cord is not pinched
anywhere. Do not pull the cord around
sharp edges, over a stove hot plate or
through an open flame.
44. INSTALLATION
•
Install a hook (sold separately) to ceiling.
Hook must hold heaters weight 3-4 times.
•
Attach the chains to the heater and to
the ceiling hook.
•
Adjust the chain length. Minimum
distance from ceiling is 50 cm and from
the ground 180 cm.
•
Connect the main gable to socket.
•
Your heater is now ready for use.
Operate heater only when it is properly
installed.
45. USE
1. Insert the plug into the power socket.
2. Install 2 x 1.5 V (AAA) batteries into the
remote control.
3. Turn the power switch to the ON
position.
4. Press button on remote control or from
heater once to get 1200 W power.
5. Press button on remote control or from
heater second time to get 1200 W power.
6. To turn off the heater, press the power
switch to OFF position.
46. CLEANING
•
Disconnect the appliance from the
mains.
•
When the appliance has cooled down,
its housing can be wiped with a dry
cloth.
•
Do not touch the quartz tube with your
fingers, because fingers can leave oily
stains, which can cause interference.
•
The reflector surface should be cleaned
regularly with a brush from the outside.
•
Do not use abrasive or corrosive
cleaning agents.
•
Never immerse the appliance in water.
Danger to life!
47. WARRANTY
This heater and its components are covered by a
one-year manufacturing and materials warranty.
Keep the sales receipt, make a copy of the receipt
and attach it to these instructions for use as a
warranty certificate. In warranty matters, reliable
verification of the place of purchase and date of
purchase must be possible.
The warranty does not cover normal wear of the
components, warping, corrosion of components
or surfaces, faults induced by corrosion, faults
and damages caused by improper use or
inadequate maintenance of the unit.
Discoloration of steel surfaces, spotting and
darkening are normal consequences of use and
the passage of time. Especially in humid and salty
environments, spot corrosion of steel surfaces is
possible, for which reason use of steel care
products in accordance with the instructions is
very important. Such possible spot corrosion does
not interfere with use of the unit and occurrence
of the corrosion is completely normal for steel
surfaces, for which reason it is not covered by the
warranty.
If you should discover a fault of the product or
product component during the warranty period,
please contact the purchase place of the heater.
The importer will take care of all warranty
procedures. The importer will deliver a new
component to replace the damaged or missing
component, but will not be responsible for
installation of the new component. In case of
self-assembled heaters, the customer is always
responsible for replacement of components, in
accordance with the heater’s instructions. Failure
to follow said instructions will void the warranty
and the use will not comply with the product
certificate.
