Charger use and care
1. Do not attempt to open or disassemble the charger. If the charger has been dropped
or is damaged in any way, stop using it and do not attempt to repair it.
Return the
charger for repair to an authorized service center or a qualified person, to avoid any
danger to the user; or discard it according to local laws.
2. Protect the charger against any heat source (e.g. direct sunlight exposure, fire,
heater)
to prevent any damage to the charger.
3. Do not expose the charger to water, moisture and cold.

4. If the power cord or the plug becomes damaged, stop using the charger until it
has been repaired by a qualified person. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer or its authorized service center, in order to avoid a
hazard.

5. Only use the charger provided with the tool, or a same type or same model charger
to charge the battery.
The use of other types of charger increases the risk of electric
shock, personal injury and damage.
6. Never attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.

7. Only use the charger at ambient temperatures b10°C and +40°C. Store charger
in a dry location protected from cold where temperature would not 40°C.
8. The charger is intended for indoor use only. Place charger on solid, flat non-
flammable surface and away from any flammable materials when re-charging the
battery pack.
9. Do not recharge the battery pack in a wet or humid environment.
The charger and
battery pack may heat during charging process.
Additional safety warnings for hedge trimmers
•
Keep all parts of the body away from the cutting blade. Do not remove cut material of
hold material to be cut when the blades are moving. Make sure the switch is off when
clearing jammed material.
A moment of inattention while operating the hedge trimmer
may result in serious personal injury.

Carry the hedge trimmer by the handle wit the cutting blade stopped. When
transporting or storing the hedge trimmer always fit the blade cover.
Proper handling
of the hedge trimmer will reduce possible injury from the cutting blades.

Do not grasp the blade of the hedge trimmer.
•
Hold the power tool with a firm grip with both hands (if possible) and keep a good
balance. The power tool is best guided with both hands.

Blade is still moving for a few seconds after switching off the hedge trimmer. Always
wait until the blade has come to a complete stop before placing it down.
•
Inspect the hedge or bushes for foreign objects like wire fences.
Remove them prior
to operation.
•
Keep hands and feet away from the trimming area.
•
Ensure there are no people or animals within 5 meters of the trimming area.
•
If you are using a means of support to raise yourself off the ground, ensure that it is
stable and cannot topple over- do not overreach at any time.
•
Do not use the hedge trimmer without properly fixed blade guard.
The blade cover
protects the user from the trimmings ejected during the operation.
•
The hedge trimmer is intended for outdoor use only. Do not use indoors.
•
Stop using the power tool immediately if it starts to vibrate abnormally, smoke emits
or you hear strange noises.
