The fan is defective.

The fireplace is not operating correctly.

There is loose wiring.
The vents are dirty or clogged.
The fireplace is not operating correctly.
The fireplace is not plugged in.
A circuit breaker is tripped or a fuse blown.
The ON/OFF switch is defective.
There is loose wiring.
Make sure the fireplace is plugged in to a
standard 120V outlet.
Check additional appliances on the circuit; ideally the
fireplace should be on a dedicated 15-amp circuit.
