Anchoring your Forge/Station
We recommend building your task using the leveling feet, but for long production runs, we recommend bolting
the Forge/Station to your floor. Repeated movements or collisions by your Forge/Station can cause small,
gradual shifts in the location of your station over time even if the leveling feet are deployed. We recommend
using threaded rods to mount your Forge/Station to your concrete floor.
Note:
Since you will be moving your system from the position that your task was programmed in, all of your
waypoints will now be out of alignment. If you would like to have a method to realign/fix all your waypoints
at once, this can be accomplished with READY's optional R-Align peripheral.
IMPORTANT:
Your task should be fully completed and tested before mounting your robot into the floor.
Otherwise, you will be unable to easily move the robot to a different location if necessary to complete the
task.
IMPORTANT:
This process is for concrete. If your surface is anything other than concrete or if your
concrete surface is cracked, please contact READY support at 1-833-732-3977.
