R-FORCE FOR INNER DOORS – INSTALLING AND OPERATING
PROGRAMMING THE UNIT
9
Programming the unit
General information
In order to program the unit, it must be set to programming mode by entering the
system
code. The default system code is 1234.
Recommendation: Change the default system code to your own code as soon as
possible. (See ”Changing the system code” on page 12.)
After entering the system code, you select a menu, depending on what you want to do.
Access codes can consist of three to six numbers.
The unit’s LED lamp can help during programming because it shows which step you are at.
The following symbols are used in the instructions to show what the lamp is doing
after
each described step:
Off
(operating mode)
Steady shine
(programming mode)
Slow flashing
(menu selected)
Fast flashing
(waiting for input)
See also ”Appendix 1: Signals in R-FORCE” on page 17.
Programming mode terminates automatically after about 20 seconds of inaction. It
can also be exited manually by pressing 0 and then #.
