Activating or deactivating the battery warning sound 

When the battery warning is activated, you will hear three short beeps when opening the 
door.  

Activating sound decreases battery life. The battery warning is activated by default.  

1.

 

Set the unit to programming mode by entering the 

system code. 

 

2.

 

Press 5 (menu selection), then #. 

       

3.

 

Press 2 (submenu), then #. 

 

4.

 

Press 1 to activate sound. Or press 0 to deactivate it.  

Confirm with #. A beep confirms the change.  

 

 

5.

 

To exit, press 0, then #. 

 

Changing the system code 

Note: 

 

The system code cannot be the same as any of the access codes.  

 

If the system code has more digits than a code, but uses the same initial digits, then 
subsequent digits must be entered within 2 seconds after the last digit of the access 
code. Example: If the system code is 123789 and there is an access code of 1237, then 
89 must be entered within 2 seconds after 7 in order to enter programming mode. 

 

In order to change the system code, you must know the current system code. If the 
system code is unknown, see page 14. 

Instructions: 

1.

 

Set the unit to programming mode by entering the 

system code. 

 

2.

 

Press 2 (menu selection), then #. 

 

3.

 

Enter the desired system code, 3–6 digits.  

Confirm with #. A beep confirms the change.  

 

 

4.

 

To exit, press 0, then #. 

 

5.

 

Make a note of the new system code!
