NOTES FOR INSTALLATION

The ED series ampliﬁers are designed to be housed in 19” racks / ﬂight-cases (height: 2 units). If
installation is made inside a rack enclosure, we recommend you to use the attachment ﬁttings on
the back of the ampliﬁer, so the front panel does not have to support the entire unit weight. Make
sure there is sufﬁcient ventilation for the ampliﬁer to be cooled correctly. Do not obstruct the rear
part of the ampliﬁer (in order to guarantee the necessary air intake).

CONNECTION TO THE MAINS

The unit must be connected to a mains supply that can deliver at least the maximum power
required. Do not use extension cables or adapters that could compromise the proper current
delivery.

COOLING

Cooling is handled by a circuit that automatically regulates the dual speed of the fan in relation
to the temperature rise. The second speed is used when the temperature gets over 60°C/140°F
(to get the maximum fan noise reduction).
Cooling is forced, the air is taken in from the front and pushed out from the sides.
