Should a console get faulty, it would be better to remove it from the line. Yet, this may not be imme-
diately possible: a temporary solution is to disable the faulty console completely (by setting its DIP
switches to by-pass), but leaving it connected to the line, allowing audio signals and data to be sent
to (/ received from) the next consoles of the same line.
DIP switch setting to disable the console:
Reboot the system after changing the console mode (to make the new setting effective).
