Other Information
Display Panel
Clock/Counter and Functions Displays current time, time counter, tape speed, or channel numbers when
switching channels.
Shows function of VCR such as REC , PLAY , STOP , REW , FF , and PAUS (pause).
(Timer indicator) Displayed when timer or One Touch Recording (OTR) is under way or when the VCR is set
for a timer recording and the power is turned OFF. flashes when a timer recording is set and no tape is inserted
in the VCR.
VCR indicator Indicates that the VCR is in VCR-display mode. Press the TV•VCR button to toggle between VCR
and TV viewing modes.
• VCR indicator is ON when the picture displayed is from the VCR’s tuner.
• VCR indicator is OFF when the picture displayed is from the TV’s tuner.

ANT. IN jack Receives a signal from an antenna or cable system when the VCR is attached with RF cables.
AUDIO and VIDEO IN jacks Receives signals from another component, such as another VCR or camcorder,
when connected to these jacks. Use the INPUT button on the remote to select the rear video line input A/V jacks
(L1) to record from these jacks.
AUDIO and VIDEO OUT jacks Sends signals from the VCR to another component, like a TV or another VCR,
when the other component is connected to these jacks.
CH. 3/4 switch Determines the channel to which the TV must be tuned in order to see the VCR’s picture. Not
used when connecting the VCR to the TV using A/V cables.
RF OUT jack Passes the VCR’s signal to a TV using the supplied RF cable.
