Using the TV’s Menu System
• Automatic Clock Set Press the up or down arrow to select AUTO CLOCK
ON and press OK.
The indicator moves to
EDS CH.
If you know the EDS channel in your area,
use the left and right arrows to enter the number or select AUTO and
press OK.
Turn off the power. The clock is set automatically using the EDS signal. It
may take a few hours to set the clock.
• Manual Clock Set Press the down arrow button to select CLOCK SET
and press OK (the hour field starts flashing).
Press the left or right arrow button on the remote to set the hour. Press OK
when finished (the minutes field starts flashing).
Press the left or right arrow button to set the minutes. Press OK when
you’re finished.
Note: Set the AUTO CLOCK to OFF when you’re setting the clock
manually.
3. Press MENU when you are finished.
To set the ON TIMER or SLEEP TIMER.
1. Display the MAIN MENU menu. Use the up or down arrow button on the
remote to select TIMER and press the OK button (the TIMER menu
appears).
2. Highlight SLEEP TIMER or ON TIMER .

SLEEP TIMER
Press the left or right arrow button to select the number
of minutes ( 30M , 60M , 90M , or 120M ) you want the TV to remain on. The
TV will automatically turn off after the amount of time you have selected.
To cancel the
SLEEP TIMER
, follow the steps described, but press the left or
right arrow button on the remote until – – – REMAIN appears. You can also
cancel the sleep timer by turning the TV off manually.

• ON TIMER When ON TIMER is highlighted on the ON TIMER menu
screen, press the OK button (the hour field starts flashing). Press the left or
right arrow buttons on the remote to select the hour, and press OK (the
field for the minutes starts flashing). Press the left or right arrow button to
set the minutes, and press OK.
Press the down arrow button to highlight STATUS , and press the left or right
arrow button to change the setting to ON .
To turn off the ON TIMER , highlight STATUS and select OFF .
If there is no other operation, the TV will turn off automatically after two
hours.
3. To exit, press MENU.
