Connections and Setup
The Remote Control
Stop disc playback. Press once for pre-
stop mode (playback starts at location
where you stopped). Press twice for
complete stop (playback starts at
beginning of disc).
Play/Pause a disc.
Skip forward/back one chapter
(DVD) or track (CD).
Fast forward/reverse playback.
ENTER
Arrow buttons and ENTER button:
these are the navigation buttons
you use to highlight on-screen menu
items. Press ENTER to select the
item that is highlighted.

0-9
Use to input information such as chapter numbers and track numbers.
A-B
Define a specific segment on the disc that you want to repeat. See page 16 for more
information.
ANGLE (8)
In combination with SHIFT, accesses the Camera Angle option of DVD disc.
AUDIO
Accesses the Audio icon in the Info Display. See page 14 for more information.
AV IN/OUT
Accesses the device that is connected to the audio/video jacks on the player.
BOOKMARK (3)
In combination with SHIFT, lets you mark a point on the disc so you can quickly start
playing the disc from that point.
CLEAR
Removes on-screen menus and displays.
DISPLAY
Accesses the Info Display.
MENU/PBC
When playing a disc, accesses the disc’s menu. Also turns the Playback Control (PBC)
menu on and off. The PBC feature is used with some VCD and SVCD discs
(Karaoke
discs).
