Chapter 3: Playing Discs (Audio CDs)
Bookmarks
The Bookmark feature lets you mark a point on the disc so that when you turn the player off and back on (without having
ejected the disc), you can quickly start playing the disc from a bookmarked point.
The Bookmark Feature is explained in the DVD part of this chapter (go to page 23 for instructions).
IntroScan
Use the IntroScan feature to preview the first few seconds of each track on the CD.
1. While the CD is playing, press INFO (the Info Display appears).
2. Use the arrow buttons to highlight the IntroScan icon.
3. Press OK (the first few seconds of each track starts playing). To stop IntroScan, press the STOP button.
Virtual Light
This feature is turned on and off through the DVD player’s menu system. When Virtual Light is on, random colored patterns
move on the screen in time to the music being played.
1. If a disc is playing, press STOP (the DVD player menu appears).
2. Use the arrow buttons to highlight the
Display
option. Press OK to select it.
3. Highlight and select the
Virtual Light
option.
4. Press the right arrow button to toggle Virtual Light on or off.
