Be very careful in wiring the pig tailed end of the power cable
–
making sure that the
conductor colors on the cable match the correct terminals on the power supply!
The cable shield must be connected to earth ground!
The power supply is factory set to 12 VDC - do not adjust the power supply voltage in
the field!
The provided power supply supports a single camera, as well as analog and digital I/O modules
(accessories). For further details, see section 5.9
For accurate temperature readings, we recommend a 20 minute warm-up period after
power on. During this time, the internal calibration sources will be stabilized. Digital
communication can be started 60 seconds after power on.
5.7.3
Connecting the RS232 Cable
To connect the cable (available as accessory):
1.
Remove the cap and connect the RS232 connector.
2.
Push it in firmly until it locks in place.
The RS232 cable is required when the user has lost the IP address of his camera and needs to
determine the IP Address. This cable is only used with the TSA software and does not get used at all
with the DTPi software.
5.7.4
Connecting the Video Cable
To connect the video cable (not supplied):
1.
Remove the BNC cap.
2.
Connect the video cable plug straight into the VIDEO output terminal on the body and lock
the video cable in place.
