Timing with intermediate (split) times
1.
Press button
B
to start the chronograph.
2.
Press button
C
: the chronograph pauses* and the hands of the
counters indicate the first intermediate time.
3.
Press button
C
again. The chronograph hands catch up with
the time elapsed since the start.
4.
Proceed in the same way for each intermediate time, pressing
button
C
to read the intermediate time and pressing button
C
again to make the hands catch up once more with the elapsed
time.
5.
Press button
B
to stop the timing and read the total time
elapsed since the start.
6.
Press button
C
to return the counters to zero.

Timing continues in the background.
Tachymeter*
Scale allowing measurement of average speed, for instance of a
vehicle over a distance of 1 kilometer or 1 mile.
Example
: Start the chronograph at the begin-
ning of a 1 kilometer or 1 mile distance and
stop it when this distance has been covered.
If the distance took 20 seconds to travel, the
average speed is 180 km/h or 180 mph.
NB
: Measurement is limited to 60 seconds.
