System clock
It is important that the H6 system clock is accurately set as this is used as the basis
for all calculations within the system, e.g. tides.
To set the system clock:
1. Click on the clock at the bottom of the totem pole. The Date Time dialog box is
displayed.
2. Click the arrow to the right of the month. A drop-down menu is displayed.
3. Scroll and select the appropriate month.
4. Click the arrow to the right of the year. A drop-down menu is displayed.
5. Scroll and select the appropriate year.
6. Use the cursor to select the correct date and click.
7. If necessary, use the up or down arrows to the right of the time box to set the
correct time.
8. Click the Time Zone tab.The time zone page is displayed.
9. Click the arrow to the right of the time zone box. A drop-down menu is
displayed.
10. Scroll and select the correct time zone.
11. Ensure that the
Automatically adjust clock.....box is checked. The system clock
is now set and will automatically adjust itself for most daylight saving times.
